BACKGROUND

2SIGNS MANAGEMENT (2SIGNS) is pleased to announce an upcoming Sound Heart Video Series (Sound Heart) project. The Sound Heart Video Series will be produced based on an organised major tour with Ustadha Yasmin Mogahed and Shaykh Mohammad Cheppih to the beautiful locales of New Zealand in 2015.



Participants from all around the globe gathered together for a week against the backdrop of breathtaking South Island, New Zealand. They immersed themselves in lectures, reminders and inspiring nature to get closer to their vision of a Sound Heart.


WHAT IS A SOUND HEART PROJECT?
'A Sound Heart' is inspired from the Ayah of the Quran where Allah talks about Qalbun Saleem. Allah Almighty says, “The Day when there will not benefit [anyone] wealth or children, But only one who comes to Allah with a sound heart.” [Surah Ash-Shu'ara]

OUR AIM IS TWOFOLD:

IMMERSE THE HEARTS IN understanding and reflecting upon the signs of Allah all around us.

HEAL THE HEARTS by blending Allah's two GREATEST signs. What are these? His Message to us, the Quran, and Nature, the Universe that He created for us to live in.

The two speakers in this retreat took the attendees on a journey of the heart with many lessons from Quran, stories of the Prophets of Allah, leadership lessons from the blessed life of RasulAllah s.a.w and the nature that surrounds us.

All the hustle and bustle of our everyday lives, all the joy and sadness in our lives, all the difficulties and comforts of this life, all the anger and hate that manifest, all the love and beauty we cherish, at the end of the day, what is important is that we meet Allah with a sound heart. This is something which many Muslims irrespective of their age group are missing out on in the super busy environment we live in today.

2SIGNS wants to bring those exquisite moments spent with Ustadha Yasmin and Sheikh Cheppih in searching for these answers to YOU.


WHAT DO WE GAIN THROUGH THIS SERIES?
Our hearts are plagued by many questions. This retreat focused on a few questions that helped the attendees bring perspective back into their lives.

• What are the things in our lives drives us most?


• What do I think about most?


• What do I care/worry about most?


• What is the greatest pain for me?


• What do I cry about?


• What do I think about while I'm praying?

The answers to these questions points to what our hearts are REALLY attached to. After filming the retreat, we would like to bring this opportunity to Muslims ALL AROUND THE WORLD to learn and find their own answers by giving them special and free access to this week long retreat!


WHAT WILL YOUR SUPPORT HELP TO ACHIEVE?
At the time of retreat, the entire week was recorded with our own resources. Work has already begun on this project on a voluntary basis but the funds are sparse and insufficient to complete the work properly.

   Colour correction and other enhancements to make it thoroughly professional and entrancing.
