Banyuwangi is located in the Eastern most of the Java Island. Just across the sea is Bali & Lombok.

In this particular location, the land is wakf by the villagers in the area and they need help with the cost of building the Masjid which can serve up to 500 families ( 2000 villagers based on 4 person per house ) in that location. The land area is about 400 sqm.

Funds needed: $98,000

Project estimated to complete within 6 months to 1 year from start of project.
Start of project - Only happens when funds are sufficient.

We will close this project once the full amount has been received.

We have completed the plasterboard installation on the ceiling of the main hall of the mosque and the male and female wudu areas and toilets. Next will be the installation of the ceramic walls in the main room, imam's room, floors of the mosque, front stairs, etc.

We are currently installing the plasterboard on the ceiling of the main hall of the mosque and constructing the male and female wudu areas and toilets.


The pillars of the north and south tower have been completed. The door and glass frames of the walls have also been fixed.

We are working on the ornaments of the masjid, which require lots of small details.


We are laying bricks for the walls of the masjid.


Completed fixing the cement structure and poured the cement into the structure. Now waiting for the cement to dry.


We are now casting the roof of the mosque terrace.




The tiled roof is now completed.


We are currently casting pillars around the mosque.


The roof top is built and it can now be used for congregational prayer eventhough the walls are not up.



We have started construction for the Wakf Masjid in Banyuwangi, located in the Eastern most of the Java Island.




If you wish to contribute to this project, you may wakf as follows

ii) $500 for 5 names.
iii) $1000 for 10 names.

You may also wish to wakf $50 however we will not be able to print the name due to insufficient space.

Currently the Masjid have not been named yet and the villagers have agreed to allow the wakif that contributes minimally SGD $65,000 to give its name.
