While we are living in the comfort of our homes protected from the weather, others in different parts of the world may not share the same fate. Despite working day and night to support their families, they are still too poor to purchase land and build up their own houses. There are thousands of families living in poverty in Cambodia, and some of the houses are simply made of straw (as shown above). In this Wakf project, we aim to aid and provide these families with proper housing.
This project, managed by Infaq.SG, will help to purchase a small piece of land and build up the houses for these poor families. One of our staff members, who travels every 2-3 months to Cambodia to send support, will be overseeing this project.
We have completed 32 houses. Alhamdulillah.
Currently we are raising funds for the 36th house.
Location: 21 Houses @ Wilayah Koh Kong & 9 Houses @ Wilayah Sihanoukville
Completion period: 3 months + 1 month of Administration.
How to contribute?
Wakaf Whole House - $3,600 (You may provide up to 6 names for this Wakaf project)
Wakaf Part of House ( Shared with 5 other paxs ) - $630 each.

1) How will I know the project has been completed?
- You will receive a certificate and a photo of the completion. We estimate this will take 5 - 6 months from the time you register your infaq.
