About EIS
Emaan International School (EIS) is situated in Chrak Romiet village in Kampong Chhnang, Cambodia. EIS is committed to the holistic development of each child and is recognised by the Ministry of Education Youth and Sports as one of the highest achieving schools in the rural area of Cambodia.
About 20% of our enrolment is reserved for orphans and needy students who require sponsorship for their school fees. As the other students are also poor, they pay very affordable school fees which currently is barely enough to pay for the salaries of teachers and staff. From the current 130 students, the school plans to increase the enrolment to 300 in by 2025 so that it becomes self-sustaining. Until then, we need support from donors like yourself to keep the school running.
For the Orphan Sponsorship, there will be monthly recurring packages available in the form of $20, $50, $100.
To ensure the future sustainability of its projects and to continue benefiting thousands of the underprivileged, EFC had initiated a Waqaf Jackfruit Plantation Project to raise funds to purchase 2 hectares of land and plant 1650 jackfruit trees.
As for the Waqf Jackfruit Plantation, the waqaf scheme costs SGD50/tree (including land price and 2 years of maintenance). The perpetual yield from the plantation will be used to support EFC's activities.
