The mosque communities in Uganda will be served with cooked food named 'Pillawo' as well as water, dates and juice. The food will be prepared every day before Iftar time and distributed to beneficiaries of selected villages of Mpogo, in Kabwangsi district after Maghrib prayer.
The beneficiaries of this project will be:
- Orphans
- Needy people
- Poor people
- Child headed families
- People with disabilities
The Messenger of Allah S.A.W said:
"And, whoever the gave (In Ramadan), a person who fasted water to drink, Allah shall grant that giver a drink from fountain, such a drink where after that, the person shall never again feel thirsty until he enters the Garden (Jannah)"
