Due to inherited social cultural and economic detribalization, women throughout the world, notably in Uganda, have been exposed to social and economic vulnerability. Women have been encouraged to create self-help organizations in order to avoid social economic vulnerability, which is linked to poverty. In order to eradicate poverty, the need for analyzing its root causes and way to tackle the problem is of great importance.
Kibuku District has a population of 202,630 people, with 97,008 men and 105,622 women. According to the 2014 national and housing census, the growth rate was 2.8 percent. The government is having trouble providing basic social and economic services to its citizens, such as water, health care, education, housing, and job opportunities. Our goal is to teach tailoring skills to 100 women and girls from 100 families so that they can become self-sufficient rather than relying on others for survival.
