The low-income population lost their livelihood during the COVID-19 lockdown, pushing them even further into poverty. In light of these circumstances, the Tamilnadu government reopened schools on November 1, 2021. However, in the coastal areas, it may be delayed for another week due to heavy rain. Unfortunately, in our Theni and Dindigul regions, 220 underprivileged children (whose parents have lost their jobs as a result of the COVID-19 lockdown) require educational assistance (School bags, note, books, guides and stationaries).
